Isabella Sánchez, 2018 Hispanic Woman of Distinction, Vice President, Media Integration, Zubi Advertising
“We can work hard to achieve successful careers, make a difference in the lives of others, have a healthy family life, raise wonderful children, stay close to our Latin culture and roots and hopefully become role models for others.”
When companies such as the Ford Motor Company, Lincoln Motor Company, Dunkin’ Donuts, JP Morgan Chase and others are looking to get their best ROI in advertising, they seek out industry professionals such as Isabella Sanchez.
As the Vice President of Media Integration for Miami’s Zubi Advertising, Isabella uses her more than 25 years’ experience in the U.S. Hispanic market to help her clients reach the customers they are looking to attract.
Over the years, working as a Vice President, Media Director for The Bravo Group and Vice President, Managing Director for Tapestry/Starcom MediaVest, Isabella fostered strong relationships with key industry contacts in the media allowing her to offer her company’s clients the most value for their advertising dollars.
As the PTA Membership Chair for Miami’s Vineland K-8 Center, Isabella co-created a program that encourages members to donate additional dollars above their membership fee to increase the organization’s coffers. In addition to providing improvements in technology and academic enhancements, the funding allows the PTA to help children from lower income families participate in fee-required sports, science fairs, field trips, clubs and activities that their parents wouldn’t be able to otherwise afford.
In addition to working with the PTA, this bi-lingual executive serves as Treasurer for the Cultural Marketing Council (formerly the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies - AHAA), and serves on Texas Tech University’s Institute for Hispanic and International Communication’s Advisory Board.
Isabella earned dual degrees in Journalism and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Maryland. She also studied at the Universidad La Complutensein Madrid, Spain.
She and her Zubi Advertising team have won multiple awards in the annual “Hispanic Media Planning Excelencia Awards,” the only competition that recognizes media planning excellence in the Hispanic market. Isabella was also named the AHAA and Hispanicad.com’s “Media Planning Executive of the Year.”
Isabella and her husband, John Angee, an artist and architect, along with their children, Cristina and Michael, love to travel. They especially enjoy visiting Isabella’s ancestry family in Madrid. She also likes cooking and entertaining in their Miami home.
