The why and the vision.

If we really want a world with more happiness and less misery, let’s focus on making it happen. Set the intention. Let’s be it.

We need a world with less judgment and more wisdom, we need individuals with the courage to make a positive social impact and institutions that embrace the principle of collaboration. We need businesses that make their employees proud of belonging to them and their clients loving their products and services. We need Schools and Universities that help build human beings as ‘whole individuals’ ready to collaborate, and be the best they can be. We need governments that create policies and spaces for people to thrive in society.

We need to be, ‘BE’ of Being over ‘DO’ or over ‘HAVE’. When we ARE and get rid of layers of inauthentic identity builders, we are setting the stage to a world with more happiness, and when we are committed and at service to building inclusive societies, we are seeding a world with less misery.  Let’s be it.

When we root our behavior on the right values we are unstoppable human beings.

And in order to create a common force for good those values have to allow us to think big, dream bigger and act now. That’s why we believe in:

Discovery:

Being curious about the inner being and the outer world. We have to learn from experience as much as thinking, and be mindful about the small and the big things, the micro and the macro.

Connection:

Grounding ourselves to our being and to the collective, and sensing the good and the bad, the suffering and the joy. Bridging people’s purposes with meaning and building communities that help us prosper.

Gratitude:

For who we are and how we are capable of loving without limits and creating continuos value. Being thankful for the other, for the community, and seeing their strengths and their will to live in peace.

Compassion:

Understanding that we can suffer and we can be happier together. When we bond we create secure bases that become a source of strength and trust. It is through compassionated leadership and inclusiveness that we can maximize positive change and growth.

There are many more amazing values to embrace and we should do it. Discovery, Connection, Gratitude and Compassion, when combined and embodied, allow us to be wired to create a world with more happiness and less misery.

How to get there

We have to be bold and creative and at the same time flexible with attachments. We have to be humble and very strong, in kindness. We have to think holistically and act at the deepest human level. We have to understand the whole and the interconnections in it.

That’s why it is key to connect science and sage, and our emotions, mind, body, thoughts and our beings.  We need to focus on building:

Happier People:

Be happiness and the rest will follow. Science has proved that happier people innovate more, are more committed, get less sick. Choose happiness and your family, your friends, your community and the world will be happier.

More Consciousness:

When we broaden our perspective and are able to reframe more positively, with a wider contrast, we realize that issues become smaller and relative and opportunities multiply. Being aware and awaken to our perceptions, thoughts and feelings is key to our evolution.

A higher Vibration:

Energy is at the core of our existence and from quantum theories to spirituality a higher vibration can help elevate consciousness and reframe opportunities. The emotional part of our existence becomes as relevant as the rational one, giving to human beings the opportunity to accelerate positive change.

New lenses for a world in transformation

The world happiness summit is a space for dialogue, created to build meaningful connections, a forum to grow as individuals and communities, a secure base that allows us to feel, understand and act. We are for all and want to build a world with more happiness and less misery with all.

We support the UNSDG and want to help achieving them. We want to keep building on the wisdom of so many players in the world that are working to create a happier world*1. At the world happiness summit we want to work hard to make happiness a fundamental human right and to increase awareness on happiness as a life choice, and as an enabler of human development and social innovation.

The world needs new lenses to understand growth and how humans and societies can thrive. Everyday is the first day of the future that we want to create. We are here, today, in this moment, ready to co-create a world with more happiness and less misery.
