A Million-Dollar Stage for Your Kid’s Bold Ideas

Your kid can participate individually or as part of a small team of up to three.
The Mott Million Dollar Challenge is a national pitch competition for kids and teens in grades K–12. Young people are invited to share creative ideas that improve their schools, homes, or communities by recording a short 30–90 second video. No fancy editing or special equipment required!
Your kid can participate individually or as part of a small team of up to three. Across the competition, $1 million in prizes will be awarded, and finalists will be invited to a celebration in Flint, Michigan, in June 2026. It can also help kids and teens build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills, while showing them that their ideas matter.
Supported by funding from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Mott Million Dollar Challenge is administered by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) in collaboration with VentureLab, Young Entrepreneur Institute (YEI), the Afterschool Alliance and Collaborative Communications.
Submissions are due February 27, 2026.
