Capturing Small Business Focus Though Completion

Do the Work!

This is the fun part – doing the work!

Carve out time to write down 1-3 areas where you’d like to be complete:

7 Guidelines to Being Complete:

  1. What one situation remains incomplete for you?
  2. Assess – how does this area of incompletion weigh you down or hold you back? Be courageous in your answer!
  3. What actions do you need to take to get complete? Be mindful now, you do not want to put this responsibility on someone else, ie “I need for Sarah to apologize so I can get complete.” The point here is what can and will YOU do to get complete with your situation. Be clear that for some of you this action will be intimidating, nerve-wrecking, or down-right scary. And, that is okay.
  4. Go! Take that action step. Today looks like a Beautiful day for you to get complete in this area! You may succeed in your first try, or you may have to have multiple tries. It is all good.
  5. Journal about your experience. You may be completing a situation that is a couple of weeks old, like a misunderstanding with your cousin two weeks ago. Or it may be something that you’ve held onto for years, like a business deal gone sour ten years ago. Whatever it is, writing will help you process your experience.
  6. Check in with your mind and body to confirm positive feelings.
  7. Move forward a little lighter during your Entrepreneurial journey!

It has been a pleasure guiding this 8-part “Self-Awareness for the Emerging Entrepreneur” series for you. As you move forward, I remind you to be, act and Stay Limitless!
