He now directs, produces and finances stand-up comedy films for TV, producing such hits as The Original Latin Divas of Comedy and The Hot Tamales Live. Scott has been involved with more than 70 shows for the Showtime Networks.
In 2009 Scott created the LOL Comedy Festival (about to begin season five).
“In the beginning The LOL Comedy Festival was really just created as an excuse to film single and themed stand-up comedy special for broadcast”, said Scott. The first LOL Comedy Festival was produced at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles producing six specials including the “Hot Tamales Live,” all six premiered on the Showtime Network. Four years later the 4th annual LOL Comedy Festival was produced in San Bernardino at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts. The Festival was filmed over four days and produced eleven stand-up and themed comedy specials including Snoop Dogg presents the Bag girls of Comedy, Jay Mohr, Bill Bellamy and eight additional specials having premiered in 2012 and will premiere into 2013 on the Showtime Network.
