Wendy Williams executes four marketing tactics
1. She made sure to wear pieces of the new collection on her daytime Wendy Williams show, describe any great details and features to her viewers, and continue to talk about them during the show
Wendy models one of her creations on her daytime show. She makes sure to tell her crowd that she is wearing a great marl wrap dress with her own “YSL” belt
2. She made sure to give her new line a proper introduction on her Wendy Williams “After Show” wrap up video segments that are posted on her website.
3. Her daily outfits are religiously posted on “What Wendy Wore” on her website which showcases exactly what Wendy is wearing daily on her show and who the designer/brand is. Everything from her head to toe is given props from clothing, jewelry, shoes, legwear, and every accessory. Any day that she had on a piece of her HSN clothing line, it got the same major exposure as her more expensive Diane Von Furstenberg, Catherine Malandrino, Christian Louboutin, J. Crew, Ann Taylor, etc. counterparts.
4. She had a fun fashion show on her Wendy Williams show with HSN host, Callie Northagen (who would be her first co-host on the March 28th HSN debut segment) to give her fans a little taste of the new collection. As a smart woman, she made sure to include different body types—petite, lean, curvy– to highlight the fact that she is designing for every woman out there who wants to look fashionable.
