Thinking Of A Opening Cross Border Business?
Parisi’s Cross Border Business Words Of Advice
If someone is indeed willing to give it a shot, Parisi has a few words of advice. First, it’s good to have a plan in place, but be ready to modify it in “a nano-second,” as he puts it. And in terms of having a storefront, he says consistency is a must.
“You also have to be there for it to succeed. Having a bookstore doesn’t mean having books on shelves and an employee behind the counter. To be truly successful, you need the owner’s personality up front to support the business,” Parisi says.
This is wise advise for any business, no matter where it’s located and or the industry in which it operates. Understanding local regulations and cultures, realizing that some operational necessities may take longer than others, having patience, and perhaps more important, sporting a sense of humor are all-essential to success.
