Third Annual Latin Business Spirit Awards Gala Scores Three Hits in a Row

Sponsoring the event this year were Wells Fargo, Farmers Insurance Group, Bank of America, the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, the Latin Scholarship Fund, and Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University.

Educational opportunity formed a cornerstone for this year’s event. The Latin Scholarship Fund was formally announced last year at the gala, but this year we took another step forward by partnering with the Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University to award Hispanic Heritage scholarships. The Latin Scholarship Fund also awarded two scholarships at the event to Phillip Romero and Phillip Gurule. “We look forward to holding the Latin Business Spirit Awards event each year, but this year was special because we were able to award more scholarships,” Greg McComb, editor and publisher of Latin Business, remarked.
