Winter Fashion- Shoes Jackets and Some of the Best Accessories

Another vintage fur piece I bought is a scarf that is composed of rabbit hair pom pom balls. I was inspired by the purse charms of Karl Lagerfeld and knew I wanted to use this idea for my own accessories–key fobs, earrings, shoe pendants, etc.

I was able to make a few pieces for myself, share some of the fur puff balls with other friends so they could make their own accessories and STILL have more to use for future projects. I have to think about what else I want to make…..

Lastly I bought a long finished strip of fox fur that is meant to be a buttoned on collar to a sweater or coat. I cut it into 4 separate sections and made bracelet cuffs out of them. They are a super cute fashion accessory that can also be dressed up by putting a brooch on them.

Some of the best accessories that can be made with the smallest scraps of left-over fur. I love my cuff in the top left hand corner. Don’t let these little pieces go to waste. They are too beautiful to not figure out what you can make out of them!

Now I just need to get started on my coat project. At least looking at all these beautiful fur images is keeping me a bit warm. And maybe once the weather turns a bit less sub-zero, I can bring my coat into the city and get it transformed into next year’s perfect Fall/Winter 2016 coat—timeless, elegant AND still casual, and just plain WARM!!!!

Stay Warm Fashionistas!
