Remodeled and New Hotels

All of the aforementioned hotels have recently undergone major renovations over the past couple of years. Each of these hotels offers superb service, luxurious accommodations, access to wireless communication and the various expected luxury amenities in every room.

Many new developments are in the works in our nation’s capital in preparation for the presidential inauguration. New developments and major projects are taking place downtown. The Washington Marriott Marquis is scheduled to open in 2014. This hotel will be located directly adjacent to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and will include a concourse that will allow pedestrians to connect between the two. The hotel will feature 1,175 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of meeting space, as well as restaurant outlets on the ground floor. Certainly something consider if you are planning meetings in 2014.

CityCenterDC is finishing up a three square block development located downtown within walking distance to many hotel properties. This project is expected to open in 2013 and include more than 330,000 square feet of retail space and 350 to 400 rooms with 2,400 parking spots. This complex is also going to be close walking distance to the Walter E. Convention Center, making it ideal for meeting attendees in the future.
