Day 4 in the Life of a Blogger: The Tuesday Blues…
screen_shot_2015-04-04_at_11.02.57_am.png

OK–well not really the blues. I was just trying to be dramatic and lure you all into commiserating about having to be at work today!! But what I’m really referring to is the blues color story and how up-trending it is. We call it “Coastal Classic” as an overall company trend and it is hotter than hot right now!! More to see in this posting!!!!

As a side note, I hope that I have not yet tired you out of my daily postings (cut me some slack–I’m on a high right now). I am enjoying this super sonic pace of postings–I realize that I will have to wind down eventually. I’m just a bit hopped up from my love affair with blogging and market week and this is as good a place as any to up-load the day’s events. My hubby is all in favor of me sharing my chatty stories with other people besides him–hmmm can’t imagine why???

The Morning Dilemma–always the shoes….

This seems to be an ongoing dilemma every morning in my closet–eeny, meeny, miney, moe–which shoe will it be.

Once you see the dress–you’ll realize why the turquoise V.S. suede heels won by a landslide!!!

Morning in my garden in suburbia. Ahh…breathing in some of that clean summer air before getting into the gritty city.
It’s gonna be another scorcher of a day once I make it in!

Some pumped up kicks for pounding the pavement–indigo sneaks from Boden with turquoise sox.

And for all of my FB followers–if you remember my girl’s weekend in the city this summer with my girlfriend Yvette and her daughter, Anna–you will all recognize this little beauty of a bag. As soon as I walked into the beautiful Tiffany’s showroom, it literally put out a tracking beam on my credit card. I mulled it over for a day and came to the decision that I just really needed it. Most of you were in agreement with me (you bad bad deviant friends!)

Also accessorizing my beautiful bag are my Tiffany braid trim aviators–I love aviator styling–they are just so freakin’ rock star!
Fun accessories for my outfit –beachy beaded bracelets. A couple of purchases from a summer 2013 Puerto Rico trip.
And a fun “mermaid” charm bracelet from the website toneitup.com (accented by my own little seashell add-ons from my summer trip to OKI).

The ladies Karena and Katrina who created the tone it up website are all about beach living, healthy lifestyle, nutrition, working out and just having women be great role models for each other.

At the Office:

So here’s the indigo tie-dye dress that made the cut for today. Loving all of these deep blues and turquoises.

And with me is my good friend Robin who is our V.P. of Private Brands at my company who just happened to color coordinate with me!

Super cool chevron stitches going into new Spring/Summer 2015 designs for our Jr. Sweater Area–very Coachella/Festival in Feel.

Spin Expo NY Submissions: Swatches for Fall 2015 Sweater Development. I love this stuff. This is where the fun all starts!!

New ladies no closure easy cardigans–great completer pieces. Love the prints!!

More great no closure cardigans in awesome slubby cotton textures. Great for over summer beach wear!
Don’t laugh–we had to pull off a fast run to print “look book” for a project due this week and could not get our normal model in to finish off the last of the samples that just arrived at the end of the day so yours truly got called in to do a quick photography job. This would NOT be something that is in my normal day to day routine.
They kept telling me to not smile which is literally impossible for me!!
I do love this outfit–it’s a hot moto’ jacket and slick side stripe leggings–yeah baby!!!!
Escaping the Office for a Little Head Clearing Time…

So now I’m off to Zumba class, but before I work a sweat, I have about 15 minutes to kill so I’m going in to check out the new fall deliveries in Athleta at 5th & 18th right next to CAP 21 NY Studios where my amazing Zumba instructor,  Janelle Cortes teaches. OMG–LOVE THIS STUFF!! And how about the maybe not so coincidental allusion to Indigo Blues (and pay attention fashion followers–Neon pops)! I’m telling you all –stick with me and we will go far!!

Feeling the Blues!!

A little catalog take-away so I can shop at my own leisure over the weekend–rest up little Amex!!

Home Sweet Home…

And lastly enjoying dinner with my amazing hubby, Dave….a Zumba girl enjoying the fruits of her labor at one of our favorite local restaurants,  Il Frescoe in Tappan, NY….a great Petite Syrah, and absolutely my hands down best all time liquid deserts in the world—tadahh!!–I give you the Thin Mintini!!
Good night my little blog followers. I’m going to dream about waking up with a clear head, enough energy to plow through the rest of the week and amazing clothes to rock the rest of the week!!!
