Kick Off the New Year – Life is Good!

Hello Fashionistas,
Have you made your resolutions for the New Year? I most certainly have and am ready to get the year started!

Make your resolutions!

And now it’s the Sunday evening before the first full work week of 2015. I’m just winding down with a glass of amazing vino (Steele Old Vine Zinfandel 2012) with hubby. We’ve had a great weekend just talking about all the fun stuff we have done during our time off and all of the plans we have for the new year–snowboard trips, plans for N’awlins, plans to remodel the basement to add a new work-out area–so much to do already!

Feel the “Steele”

It’s going to be a bit rough getting back into the real work world now that I’ve had about 1 1/2 weeks off during this amazingly long holiday season. It’s finally time to put the loungewear away, pick out my fashionista wardrobe for the week, pack some healthy lunches and snacks, set my alarm for 6AM (ouch!) and get ready for the first work week of 2015!

I am set on making this year even better than last by continuing to stick to my healthy lifestyle which has helped me to lose 40 lbs. and KEEP it off and make even more improvements to it, be a better person, spend more quality time with family, take time for myself, and make my daily job as fun and interesting as possible by taking on new challenges and setting myself up for success in how I approach each and every day!

Stand out in the crowd and be AWESOME!

My family is healthy and happy, my husband is the most amazing person in the world! I am excited by all of the incredible things that are happening in my career! So many things just scratched the surface of my life in 2014 and I am excited to dig my heels deeper into them this year. Projects landed at work that I will start to see the fruits of their labor in 2015, a new role as lifestyle contributor at Latin Business Today (I hope you have been following me on their website and on their FB page, or Twitter)…..life is good and I’m happy to be here to enjoy it!!

Make your resolutions, stick to them, and have a great year everyone!!!
