Latin Hollywood Films, in association with Lion’s Kill Productions, proudly announces the completion of its feature film, The Journey of a Female Comic/La Trayectoria De Una Comediante.
The road to Hollywood is filled with tears and laughter for Kiki Melendez, whose journey from 2000 to today is depicted with honesty and humor in this bilingual docu-comedy, which is one of the first of its kind and uniquely features dual language bilingual subtitles. Melendez is now CEO of Latin Hollywood Films and is known for her contributions to comedy and Hispanic business.
The movie also celebrates the contributions of successful trailbrazers, including Esai Morales, Nadine Velazquez, Maria Conchita Alonzo, Jacob Vargas, Guy Ecker, our legendary Lupe Ontiveros and more. Living the American Dream while staying true to your roots is the connecting theme for the personal journeys depicted in the movie.
“It’s a classic look into Latino Hollywood, how far we have come, and what we need to do to get to where we are definitely going!” says Melendez.
The producers will celebrate with a cast and crew party at Beso Restaurant in Hollywood mid-April.
“We are ready to show our film to the world. Everyone with a dream will relate to Kiki’s journeya celebration of life!” says co-director Erick Crespo.
