Spotlight on Latina Women’s Health Entrepreneur Isa Herrera [Video]
Spotlight on Latina Women's Health Entrepreneur Isa Herrera

Latin Biz Today, partner Tina Trevino sits down with health industry entrepreneur.

“Today, I interview entrepreneur and owner of Pelvic Pain Relief, Isa Herrera.
Her business is a branch of physical therapy that helps women’s pelvic health or as Isa puts it their “lady parts”. This area of health is still very much a micro-niche market that is underserved. Isa is so passionate about her business in being able to bring pelvic dysfunction to the forefront of healthcare and health provider conversations. As she says, “you can’t outsource your own care. We need to value self-care.”

After the birth of her child she suffered her own pelvic health issues and with very little knowledge about this area of healthcare or how to even start a business, she dived in to learn more, become certified and open her brick & mortar location on 5th Avenue in NYC.
She immediately had a successful practice making women’s pelvic health her life’s mission. She has since transformed her business into an on-line presence to broaden her reach nationally and internationally bringing awareness to women who are suffering in silence and shame. There is still a stigma for women in speaking about these personal issues. Her goal is to reach 1 million women.
We discuss the importance of seeing other successful Latinas in business and how it truly helps seeing other women like ourselves in strong leadership positions.
Helping to build women up whether it be within her role as a health provider or in sharing her knowledge of starting a successful business, Isa is all about women helping women.
