Hispanic Women of Distinction

The venue that hosts the annual Hispanic Women of Distinction Charity Luncheon is a popular,well-centered location for South Florida events.

This popular “Latin themed” luncheon and business expo has a special team of Latinos at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida, that creates the ambience, food and elegant experience guests have come to expect.

In addition to the event specialist, Lily Garcia, who handles the tremendous details for a 1,000 guests, is the new general manager, Jorge Jaimes.

Jorge JaimesJorge Jaimes was born in Venezuela and moved to New York City in early 1990. Before his arrival,  Jorge earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from Santa Maria University, Caracas.

As a young dreamer, Jorge lived in New York City, where he began to develop a passion for providing superior customer service. That passion would serve him well years later in his many leadership positions in the hospitality industry.

Jorge continued to develop his career in the hospitality industry in Miami, leading several F&B departments at hotels and restaurants, most notably, Fischer Island.

Jorge is the General Manager at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida, a Mediterranean style, full service, free standing catering and conference center serving grande cuisine to up to 2,000 guests.

He observes that, “What I like the most about the Signature Grand  is that it is a master at creating memorable events.  From the tiniest details, to the most lavish décor, our Grand cuisine and staff is dedicated to making the best experience for our clients and their guests. Our goal is to create excellence for your special occasion.”
