Ms. Bustamante has received many accolades during her career, including 2005 Corporate Hispanic Business Advocate of the Year, Region I, from the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, 2004 Community Relations Specialist of the Year from the Nevada Minority Business Council, 2003 Minority Advocate of the Year from the Nevada Minority Business Council, 2004 Rising Star Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners Southern Nevada chapter, and 2005 In Business Las Vegas Top 40 Under 40. She attended California State University in Fresno, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in business
administration.

Merlinda Gallegos Director of Corporate Philanthropy
Ms. Gallegos is responsible for creating and implementing corporate programs that focus on educating the companys 70,000 employees on community needs and issues. She oversees the companys corporate charitable giving, the Voice Foundation, Dollars for Doers, and the MGM Mirage Family Scholarship Program.
Working to promote diversity and philanthropy is the touchstone of Ms. Gallegos career. She most recently served as the director of the Chung Ying Tang Foundation, a private foundation committed to strengthening communities in the United States through significant investments in education, public health, and citizen engagement.
Prior to that, Ms. Gallegos was the director of community development for United Way of Southern Nevada, where she developed and maintained relationships with over 70 partner agencies to ensure program accountability to donors and boards of directors. She has also served as a program specialist for the National Conference for Community and Justice, a social justice organization dedicated to fighting all forms of bias and bigotry.
Ms. Gallegos professional and community work includes serving as president of Conecta, an organization dedicated to bringing economic empowerment to the Latino community, and she is the immediate past president of the Nevada Public Health Foundation. She currently serves on the Clark County Trauma Task Force.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice with a minor in political science, a masters degree in sociology, and a doctorate in sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
