It’s Gala Time Fashionistas and We’re Invited!

I didn’t realize how big of a deal this was until we received a beautiful invitation for “A Night in Wonderland”—a very fun spin on Alice in Wonderland.
The HSN team devotes a lot of energy to preparing for this gala event which is the equivalent of the Oscars. Being that HSN is well versed in the apparel arena, the well crafted invitation also includes ideas for looks that are suitable for the event—after all it is Black Tie…..
The stunning “jewel box” enclosed invitation tempts us to open it up for the reveal!
A little insight as to what we can expect to see on the attendees…..
Some inspiration for the ladies….beautiful jewel tones, rich red, jewel emerald, regal purple —
And to keep a bit of the whimsical Alice in Wonderland feel, they have included some graphic black & white gowns
One of the outfits being made for our VP of Brands & Licenses. She is not a “dress” lady so we had to get creative for her. I felt like a very sparkley tuxedo style flowy jacket and liquid charmeuse tuxedo stripe pants would do the trick.
With all of the excitement surrounding the big event, I am having fun preparing some of our attendee’s ensembles. If I can’t have some fun with this—I shouldn’t be in this business. This is one time to go all out, celebrate the moment and have fun with fashion!
