Meet Michelle Rodriguez, Esq., 2025 Hispanic Woman of Distinction and Legal Counsel Staff, Geico Insurance

Michelle Rodriguez attorneyMichelle Rodriguez is a distinguished attorney with deep roots in advocacy and community service. Born in Queens, NY to Colombian parents, Michelle’s heritage has played a major role in shaping her identity and passion for justice.

After moving to Florida, she began pursuing her higher education at Florida International University where she earned a BA in Criminal Justice and her MA in Higher Education Administration. From there she received her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law graduating cum laude which served as a testament to her academic excellence and dedication.

Currently, Michelle practices law for GEICO Insurance Company. Her professional expertise is matched by her commitment to service within the legal community and beyond.

For many years Michelle served on the Board of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association (BCHBA) holding various leadership positions. She co-chaired the Legal Bilingual Conference and presented at several symposiums. She received numerous recognitions for her participation in many drives gathering food, holiday gifts, school supplies and other collections to benefit those less fortunate. She also contributed her talents to the board of the Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade and co-chaired on the  Governance Committee advocating gender equity and social justice.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys concerts, yoga, dancing and traveling to tropical destinations.
