Latina Cuban American Real Estate Attorney Impacts Community
Meet Estrellita S. Sibila, Esq., 2025 Hispanic Woman of Distinction and Real Estate Attorney at Sibila Law
“Hispanic women are not just participating in today’s society, we are shaping its future, both culturally and economically. We are building on the opportunities given to us by our families and leaving a lasting legacy for the next generation.”
Estrellita S. Sibila, Esq., is a trailblazing attorney who exemplifies the spirit of purpose-driven success. At her leading real estate and land development firm, Sibila Law, she has helped shape the Miami skyline by merging the past, present and future with a vision etched by her pioneering clientele.
She credits her entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic heart to her Cuban parents. Her mother, Dr. Estrella Mederos-Sibila, was the founder of Quick & Safe Medical Centers; host of the popular radio show “La Dieta y La Salud”; and contributing writer for “Selecta” and “Vanidades.” Her father, Jorge A. Sibila, is an attorney, a decorated Lieutenant Colonel and a Judge Advocate General for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Estrellita earned her Bachelor of Science, Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in real property from the University of Miami. She’s also an alumna of Miami Fellows, Leadership Miami and the Urban Land Institute. She was awarded the inaugural “HYPE Go-Getter Award” and was named one of the youngest “Achievers” in “Miami Today” and a “Mujer Legendaria: 20 Latinas in the U.S. Making a Difference.”
Through the Sibila Family Foundation, she helps underserved communities through philanthropic investments in the arts, education and youth development. Estrellita is the Founder & Executive Director of PhilanthroFest, the nation’s largest civic engagement festival connecting non-profit organizations and community causes with volunteers and donors. Her best-selling book, “Goal Power: Live a Life (Em)Powered by Goals” has helped countless youth and young professionals pave their path toward career and life success.
Estrellita and her husband, Jorge Arauz, a media executive, are avid globetrotters who have collectively visited more than 100 countries. Their thrilling adventures around the world include close encounters with the Big 5 on safari in Africa, sunset camel rides across the Sahara, and bone-chilling loops around the Arctic Circle.
