RESOLUTION 2017: Simplify and Elevate Your Image
.
Suggestion # 4:
Give your face the attention it deserves
Ladies, wear subtle make up and remove it every night
The trend now is to go easy on makeup. I have always been a fan of subtle make up because:
a) it enhances your face and expressions
b) it’s better for your skin
c) it requires less time and production.
Get advice on how to downplay your makeup to enhance your best features and hide the ones you like less. Never forget to remove your makeup and apply lotion every night. You will have so much more time (see above points 2.b,c, and e), and more appreciation of your own beauty.
Gentlemen, wash your face every night with a good facial product. And moisturize it.
This may not simplify your routine, but it is a simple way to elevate your image in the short and long term. Your face will look fresh, you will feel fresh, and this will have positive effects on your confidence and relations. Spend time on things that matter.
Suggestion # 5: Simplify your haircut
Hair is a crucial even if often neglected part of women’s and men’s look (well, mostly men).
It could ruin your overall image, or give it the perfect polishing touch. Find an intelligent haircut – one that works for your face shape and personality, and that requires little or no coiffing. If you have curly hair, let it/yourself be!
Find a curly hair expert stylist, who can give your curls the cut and care they deserve – and save you from the time-consuming tediousness of products and straightening (you won’t beat your curls).
Remember that personal style is a process of discovery and experimentation, and there is no one size that fits all. Not all of these suggestions may work for you, but as long as you find something that makes you feel joyful, my job is done! And if you need more style and wardrobe guidance, I would be happy to hear from you.
Make joyful authentic style your Resolution 2.0.17.
You deserve it. Warmly,
Mara
