The More You Learn, the More You Earn
Ways to improve your business development that doesn’t require tuition.
What does a successful business look like?
Some might say financial profit, while others may say the establishment of effective brand familiarity.
The reality is that successful businesses, no matter how large or small, need to have a ‘progress oriented’ mindset. The minute you stop trying to improve every and any aspect of your business, you have already failed. In this article I will be sharing how I have proactively learned the positive effects of continuing education using easily accessible resources.

Franco made me realize how crucial it is to ensure that my role as CEO is influential and inspirational not only to your clients, but to employees as well. I have witnessed his company grow significantly within a year due to the strong, motivating culture he has created.
I, too, have a motivated staff, and want to ensure that the culture we have created at Forme remains consistent for years to come.
My curiosity
My curiosity grew and I wanted to know how he was able to come up with fresh ideas and thought-provoking challenges constantly, even in the midst of other important work projects.
That’s when he told me, “the more you learn, the more you earn.” Initially, I thought this was referring to higher education. What he actually meant was that there were cost-effective, and timesaving ways to further your education.
He shared with me that he would read or listen to books such as ‘Be Obsessed or Be Average’ by Grant Cardone, or ‘You Win in the Locker Room First: The 7 C’s to Build a Winning Team in Business’ by Jon Gordon and Mike Smith.
My son does not believe in wasting time, so whenever he is on the road he listening to something new.
Taking notes
My advice when listening to these audio books is not only to listen, but to take notes, especially when there are so many beautifully crafted quotes and tips.
Whether it’s on your phone or the corner of a napkin, it’s important to listen, learn and be inspired. I am not implying that these audio books and notes are a substitution for a higher education.
What I have learned is that there are other easy, accessible ways to continue to educate yourself and you should be taking advantage of them.
Resources and lack of time should not be an excuse for lack of growth.
