Maria was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York at the age of 15, where she finished high school and attended college. She has been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years, most of which was as the Executive Director of the Scarsdale Medical Group, a successful multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester, NY. In September 2015, Maria became a partner and CEO at Formé Medical Center, a new, Social Enterprise medical practice that offers high-quality, dignified medical care to residents of Westchester County and the surrounding communities. Maria is proud to be in the position today to affect change and make a difference in the lives of the people in need of preventative and/or immediate healthcare.
