I’d like to invite you along on my journey where I, Tina Trevino, partner at LBT, Director of Community Relations and relatively new as of about 8 months ago- CEO of my own fashion start-up business, Tocaya Designs, travel through life’s adventures of running a new company.

This week you can follow me along through Europe as I do my regular trend shopping to analyze what’s “hot” in different international locales. I’m starting in London and it’s not the most beautiful or conducive of conditions this week—RAINY, GLOOMY, COLD!!

It’s grueling 9 to 10 hours pounding the pavement and stores, taking photos, deciding on a fixed budget of what pieces I should purchase to bring back to the USA that will make a strong statement to my customers as to what is trending and what types of clothing I should be designing for their brands.

Don’t get me wrong, I always take some time for a good coffee pick me up, some inspirational “not fashion” photos, and a great dinner when the day is done!!!
