Well miss Dara Torres, Swimming at London 2012, but no list of American Olympians would be complete without mentioning swimmer Dara Torres, who narrowly missed the cut for what would have been her sixth Games. Four years ago, Torres took home three silver medals at age 41. Now that her distinguished career has come to a close, Torres is looking forward to spending more time with her daughter, 6-year-old Tessa.
Across the board, the Latino business community can be proud of these and other Olympians representing the United States in London this summer. Coming from a wide range of backgrounds and competing in myriad sports, they will look to make a lasting impression in the coming days.
