Samantha Conde

Samantha Conde, 2018 Hispanic Woman of Distinction, Business Development, Nucleus Marketing Agency

“I see every day the impact that women have in our society today and the consequences when we are not present.”

Samantha Conde is likely a familiar face to many of Palm Beach County’s residents because of her community-wide involvement in her former position as Director of Education & Community Engagement for South Florida’s PBS stations WXEL and WPBT2, and her recent move as head of business development for the Nucleus Marketing Agency in West Palm Beach.

Samantha CondeHer agency duties include acting as a community liaison with area schools and colleges, government agencies, civic groups, non-profits and local businesses.

Samantha also hosts the podcast “Comó Llegué Acqui” and produces and co-hosts “Aprendiendo Juntos,” a community affairs program for the PBS channels’ Hispanic viewers. Both shows feature interviews with well-known personalities and experts and shares information about programs, school happenings and events that would be of special interest to the local Latin community.

Zig-zagging across Palm Beach County while she establishes, nurtures and maintains positive relationships for the company’s ever-growing client list, Samantha also represents the agency at community outreach events. She’s also a sought-after speaker, panelist and presenter at student, business and community forums.

In addition to the myriad of management duties her jobs require, this busy executive’s work doesn’t stop when others are clocking out at the end of the day. Samantha also is publisher for the Lake Worth edition of “Macaroni Kid,” a community-specific website and newsletter that provides local resources, tools and information for busy parents.

Samantha, a Leadership Palm Beach County alumnus from the Class of 2015, is Vice Chair of the Hispanic Education Coalition of Palm Beach County (PBC), Founder of the Education Committee of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of PBC and Programs Committee Chair for the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches among her other community and professional affiliations.

Her volunteer efforts have earned her recognition by receiving the “20thAnnual Triunfo Education Award,” the “Esperanza Award” and the “Volunteer of the Year Award” all given by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County.

Along with other honors, Samantha was named a “Women of Worth Award” finalist by the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.

A native of Uruguay, Samantha received her B.A. in Management from a Florida branch of Northwood University.

Samantha and her husband of more than 22 years, Jorge, a customer relations manager, along with their three children, Roman, Lara and Celeste, enjoy snow-based outings in the winter and exploring Florida beaches during summer vacations. An avid reader, Samantha also enjoys connecting with other hard-working mothers, volunteering and spending time with her active family.
