2016 Summer Olympic Games results:

Men’s 4x200m freestyle relay US Gold; Men’s 200m individual medley  fifth place

Ryan’s Cuban born mother The son of an American-born father and a Cuban-born mother, Lochte displayed early promise but initially lacked focus.

Lochte competed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, picking up a total of six medals in individual and team events.

 

 

Steven LopezSteven Lopez – Taekwondo

2016 Summer Olympic Games results:

Lost in the bronze medal round

Steven now 37 was born in Texas and competed in the 2012 Olympic games in London. His success was cut short due to a broken leg.

 

 

Diana Taurasi Diana Taurasi — Women’s Basketball

2016 Summer Olympic Games results:

The US women’s basketball team beat France for the Gold

Diana California native is a veteran at age 34. The former top 15  WNBA and MVP was is Argentinian and Italian ancestry.

 

These Latino Americans made their indelible mark on the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. They competed hard and gave their best to represent their country and Latinos who will follow.
