Uncle Ric My Hispanic Heritage Inspiration

Uncle Ric to the rescue

Again, Ric and his family allowed me to move in with them. He didn’t ask me for any money. Just like he and his family did back in the late 90’s, they allowed me to stay as long as I needed. They housed me, they fed me, and they loved me. They gave me the space and Love I needed to heal through my moment of devastation and begin my journey of tremendous growth. With their help and all they gave me I was able to eventually pick back up and move forward stronger than I ever had been before. It was a very difficult time for me and I stand forever grateful for all Ric has given me.

When I look back at all of these moments I see that over and over Ric unselfishly did what he could to give me what I needed so I could come out successful. In all that he has given me he has never made me feel like his helping me was an inconvenience in any way or if I ever owed him anything.

His actions have helped instill in me that our actions are powerful, and we can never under-estimate how powerful it can be when we help somebody else. I lead my life with the Gratitude for all I have been given. I carry with me the responsibility – because it absolutely is a responsibility – to ensure I now do what I can to help others when they are working towards their goals.

Thank You Ric.
