Meet Tiffany Escobar, Esq, Hispanic Woman of Distinction “Up-and Comer Honoree”, Associate Attorney, Beltran Brito Casamayor LLP

It’s easy to see why Tiffany Escobar was chosen as this year’s “Up and Comer.”
Tiffany was born in Miami but her pride in her Colombian-American heritage brought her to be the co-founder of the Colombian American Student Bar Association (COLSBAR) while excelling in her studies earning her a place on the Dean’s List and earning her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. Her efforts saw the organization’s growth which received media attention and seeing new COLSBAR chapters forming in other law schools. Her excellence garnered attention and earned her a Certified Legal Intern designation granted by the Florida Supreme Court where she served in the Human Trafficking Unit of the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
As an Associate Attorney, Tiffany now specializes in immigration law at Beltran Brito Casamayor LLP in Miami serving a diverse clientele. She now also serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of the Colombian American Bar Association (COLBAR) comprised of other legal professionals serving the Colombian American community both locally and in Colombia.
Through COLBAR, Tiffany participates in monthly pro bono legal clinics at the Colombian Consulate in Coral Gables, and has hosted continuing legal education presentations, international panels, student interactive events, webinars, and other events that serve disadvantaged communities. She recently served as a panelist discussing cross-border legal issues [in Medellin, Colombia this year at the Pontifical Bolivarian University.
Tiffany recently began her three-year serving on The Florida Bar Journal/News Editorial Board after being appointed by the Florida Bar Association’s president. Her duties include reviewing scholarly articles and selecting manuscripts for this widely-read publication.
She’s also in numerous professional organizations, including being a member of the International Entrepreneur Chamber of Commerce U.S. Florida Chapter, Miami-Dade Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, Hispanic National Bar Association, among others furthering her commitment to serve the Hispanic community.
