Meet Rachel Eugenia Pinedo, 2024 Hispanic Woman of Distinction, Foundation of the Americas, Founder/Chairperson

Rachel Eugenia Pinedo, is an accomplished philanthropist at the forefront of the charitable and humanitarian global arena. Rachel is referred to as a “Keystone Pillar of Society” by reputable global Institutions for her multi-faceted expertise acquired under Foundation of the Americas, Founder/Chairperson for the last thirty-one (31) years. This  represents a movement that has been initiated under her leadership through a specialized Division, Global Philanthropy Society (GPs), with the participation of “La Agencia Mundial de Prensa” – (The World Press Agency) Non-profit Media Global Support Agency.  As a social visionary and innovator, Rachel has developed a portfolio of high impact initiatives, in support of effective and sustainable philanthropic solutions.

Rachel PinedoAs a visionary and innovator in the philanthropic field, Rachel developed a broad portfolio of high-impact initiatives.  As a philanthropist with expertise in Charities and Foundations, Transnational Philanthropic Giving, PhilantroCapitalism, Fundraising, Public Relations and Social Media Marketing roles in areas of charitable and humanitarian services, Rachel develops and implements innovative fundraising programs and/or sustainable initiatives in an extremely diverse and multi-cultural market. The Foundation’s think tank identifies and supports high-impact initiatives and leaders striving to promote peace, sustainability and prosperity.

Through its seven (7) pillars, the Foundation represents philanthropic success and giving in the following areas:  Arts, Ecosystem, Education, Humanity, Innovation, Science and Research.  Pairing multinational corporations with charities, foundations, philanthropists and First Ladies projects through the Global Philanthropy Society, a seamless process, thus enabling all involved at the First “Global Philanthropy Summit” 2025 will lead into a triumphant philanthropic path .

As a former Executive Committee Member of the Miami-Dade County Commission for Women for over 10 years, Rachel has received Commendations and Awards for outstanding contributions to women’s issues locally, nationally, and internationally. Some of them include “The Women’s Fund Mujeres Giving Back Award for her outstanding commitment to her community through her financial support of nonprofit organizations and for encouraging other Hispanic Women to take leadership roles toward philanthropy, developing and implementing innovative fundraising programs and/or initiatives in an extremely diverse and multi-cultural market contributing to significant and necessary improvements in Miami-Dade County.
Additionally, Rachel has received the Presidential Medal Lifetime Achievement Award July, 2023, Entrepreneur of the Year, Appreciation of Valuable Services to the Community by the Miami-Dade Office of the Mayor and County Commissioners, City of Coral Gables Proclamation for Outstanding Contributions, Global Innovative Foundation Global Champion Award as well as a tribute to her contributions honoring talent and leadership from Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
 
In addition, Rachel’s remarkable contributions has received numerous accolades from the US House of Representatives, Department of Justice Crime Victim’s Week, the National Crime Victim Rights Week, US History Coalition, and many other nonprofits and community organizations.  She is journalist and writer as well as an Advisory Board member of La Agencia Mundial de Prensa, The World Press Agency and chairs the Council of Directors

Rachel is a graduate of the University of Miami and resides in Coral Gables, FL
