Latina Cuban American Florida Bank Forum CEO
Meet Yesenia Moreno 2025 Hispanic Woman of Distinction, Managing Partner, New Edge Associates, CEO, Florida Banking Forum
“Hispanic women should lead with unwavering dignity and compassion, while providing invaluable lessons in determination, professionalism, and the importance of hard work.”
With 25 years’ experience in employment staffing, Yesenia Moreno co-founded and is currently a Managing Partner at New Edge Associates, a talent acquisition firm. She also is the CEO of the Florida Banking Forum.
Born in Miami, Yesenia has shown a strong commitment to achieving excellence while maintaining her Cuban roots. She adds a little Latin flair to everything she does, and with “Cafecito con Yesenia,” a segment of her social media, she will often meet over a cup of Cuban coffee with community leaders, potential employer clients and candidates to achieve a more thorough connection of their wants and needs. These coffee meet-ups also allow her to grow her network, support local Hispanic businesses, and spread a little of her Latin culture.
Unlike many other “headhunting” firms who will send applicants who may have only the bare minimum of experience to a potential employer, Yesenia has developed a keen eye for finding potential candidates who not only have the right experience, but also the same work philosophy that will make them an ideal fit to fill their client’s needs.
Yesenia is an Executive Board Member for ChamberSouth and the South Florida Banking Institute. She also is on the Executive Committee for Women United, Chair of Sponsorship for Habitat for Humanity, BeStrong Foundation, and Amigos for Kids. She is also actively involved in the American Heart Association where she dedicates her time and efforts to have a meaningful impact.
Her dedication to involvement in the community has been recognized with the Rockstar Award by the Miami Women Who Rock, the Woman of Impact Award by the American Heart Association, and the Visionary of the Year Award by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Yesenia has been married for more than three decades to Norman Isaza, also a Managing Partner and CEO of New Edge Associates. Together they have two daughters, Melanie and Nicole. When not spending time with their business and helping in the community, they enjoy time in the Keys and New York City.
