Latina Peruvian American Talented Collaborator and Leader
Meet Jessy Allain Mena, 2025 Hispanic Woman of Distinction, Donor Relations Manager, Kids in Distress and Family Central, Inc.
“Hispanic women are unstoppable, launching businesses at six times the national average, breaking barriers in leadership, and proving that when we rise, we bring others with us.”
Jessy Allain Mena is a proud native of Peru, a dynamic Latina leader, and an award-winning fundraiser who has spent the last decade transforming lives through nonprofit leadership in South Florida.
She began her career in the corporate world, supporting multinational operations across Latin America in business development, marketing, and executive strategy. After relocating to the United States, Jessy made the bold decision to reinvent herself by channeling her corporate experience into a purpose-driven path rooted in service, equity, and community.
With degrees in marketing and business under her belt, Jessy currently serves as the Donor Relations Manager at Kids In Distress (KID) and Family Central Inc. Her expertise in networking and relationship-building, coupled with direct programmatic experience supporting vulnerable populations, allows her to bridge philanthropy with community needs by creating sustainable impact and lasting legacy.
Her commitment to collaboration and impact has earned her prestigious recognitions, including the SDG Leaders Award from the United Nations Association, the Hispanic Excellence Award from the Florida Panthers, and the Hispanos Exitosos Award from the City of Doral & Latin Business Awards.
Jessy is also the co-founder of a thriving travel agency, where she curates transformative experiences rooted in culture, joy, and exploration. Her passion for storytelling continues on stage through her work in theater by using art as a platform for connection, healing, and social change.
She proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Heritage Chamber of Commerce, where she leads initiatives in economic mobility, civic engagement, and leadership development.
Most importantly, Jessy is Sergio and Sebastian’s mom, a role that grounds every part of her mission in love, purpose, and legacy. She leads every step of her journey con propósito y puro corazón (with purpose and pure heart).
