I’ve realized as I continue to attend many networking events that Judy really has her pulse on what women do want. Personally, I started to see that women network so very differently than men. We have a tendency to share so much of our backgrounds, family stories, business failures and success without hesitation.

Our lives mix these components 24/7. We don’t necessarily keep things in separate compartments as we go about our day. We realize that other women are going through many of the same challenges that we ourselves are and we openly seek those who have been through the challenge and come out on the other side with success and grace.

We look to find other women to collaborate with whom have certain skills where we may have shortcomings. Our networking is not just an exchange for straight out business. It is a much more connected experience.

Judy spends an evening with me in the showroom talking about her early career path, the support of her husband through all of her entrepreneurial choices, her faith through challenging times in her life, and her newfound appreciation of being a Puerto Ricana and the Latinx business community.
